Experience counts and Ascent has participated successfully in a project that allows Large, Complex, Critical Infrastructures (LCCIs) to establish enhanced communication between them. The goal was to achieve improvements to risk calculations such as outages and to the propagation of crucial information to other inter-dependent LCCI infrastructures. Dependencies between different infrastructures were modelled using AI techniques and the application that emerged from this project interfaces with Siemens Network Calculation (SINCAL) to simulate Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA). A key priority was to prevent faults from affecting multiple infrastructures with cascading risks.
Airline flight catering
Ascent can transform operations for airlines and in-flight caterers, streamlining supply chains and integrating inventory management and supply chain systems.
