SAP B1 add-ons
Your profit and loss depend critically on keeping track of performance. Information matters and our add-ons for SAP B1 are designed to integrate seamlessly, significantly enhancing your management information and delivering improvements to your bottom line. Whether your needs are straightforward or complex, talk to us about what we can achieve. Just three example options developed by Ascent are shown below.
Sales Tablet Application
Keeping a remote workforce in sync is a vital part of any sales operation. A comprehensive ordering system for salespeople, the Sales Tablet add-on allows on-site orders to be taken directly onto a tablet rather than a PDA. It means more information and far greater flexibility. The tablet holds a complete client database showing client balances, orders, credit history and more. Synchronisation is automatic when docking the tablet on return - with orders uploaded to SAP and latest invoices downloaded onto the tablet ready for the next sales visits. Pick lists are included and SAP pricing logic allows for discounts and promotions that are not available using PDAs.
Reconciliation Module
Reconciling cash and cheques collected by delivery staff can become a major task, with many opportunities for errors if a system is not robust. This module keeps track of cash and cheques as they are handed in at head office, matching payments to invoices and posting updates directly onto SAP. Admin costs are reduced and information is available more quickly, allowing faster problem resolution.
Inbound Customs Processing System
Originally created for a major delivery service, this system dramatically improves management of customs processing, providing comprehensive options for all inbound packages all the way from source to delivery. Automation is extensive, with initial upload of a mail manifest creating an invoice and a delivery sheet for every client when collection from customs takes place. You also benefit from automated delivery assignment for each route, giving the best match with individual driver routes.
