Ascent Software is looking for ambitious and talented individuals to fill the following positions:

C#.NET and ASP.NET Developers (Malta)

Applicants should ideally hold a degree in ICT, or a related area, and have at least one year experience in C# and ASP.NET development. Successful applicants will join our .NET development teams and must have a good working knowledge of MS SQL Server and MS T-SQL. Skills and experience in WinForms, MCF, XML, UML, and MVC will be considered an asset. The successful applicants will work in teams of 3 to 6 specialists.

SharePoint Developers (Malta)

As a SharePoint developer, you will work with a project manager in teams of 3 to 6 specialists and be involved in designing and developing applications using MS SharePoint 2010 technologies. Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year experience in Microsoft SharePoint customization and development and will ideally hold a degree in Mathematics or ICT. Experience and skills in CSS, SharePoint Branding, C#, ASP.NET, SQL, T-SQL, MVC, XML, and UML will be considered an asset.

VB6 Developers (Malta)

The successful applicant will be a skilled and experienced VB6 developer who will maintain, develop, upgrade, and enhance a suite of legacy software products. This will be required for a period of 1-2 years until we roll out new .NET versions of the same products. We will then cross train you into C# and ASP.NET/MVC. This will be an opportunity to get involved in the development of best-of-breed applications in an agile SCRUM environment. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL will be considered an asset.
